It could be the crank sensor. I would start there. Without looking up these codes, this is my best estimate. The P2291 code is low cranking fuel pressure but could still be related to the crank sensor giving no signal. The ECU will shut off the fuel if the crank sensor stops sending a signal. Beyond that the fuel pressure sensor could be bad.
#1 23-03-2020, 08:31 PM Hi All I am after some advise on both of my vans please, but I will start with the Non Starter. It is a 58 Plate 1.6HDI 90BHP Partner. It was driving great up until 3 weeks ago. I drove it 20 miles from my Daughters house 3 Saturday nights ago, no problems, no funny noises, no warning lights.
BSI = Berlingo Systems Interface (I think). This is located by the fusebox inside the car. In fact, the fusebox is part of the BSI. On early models, this was just a block of connectors behind the fuses, but then they integrated things like the Central Locking, Multimedia and a lot of other stuff into that one unit.
It's starting to get serious. Posts: 11 Threads: 1 Thanks Received: 0 in 0 posts Thanks Given: 1 08 Citroen Berlingo MkIII 1.6 hdi Vtr 90. It's gone. 'Twas a bad'un.
Start-Stop aktiviert, funktioniert aber nicht. 24.05.2020, 21:00.
Reputation: 3. #2. 04-12-2012, 05:09 PM. I'd get the original BSI repaired. (BBA Re-Man in Rochester.) Don't know much about the Mk1 but if it's similar to the Mk2. then Lexia is needed to get the new BSI to communicate with the ECU. There's bound to be someone else along who knows more about the Mk1. BSI .

P2291 is a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) for "Injector Control Pressure Too Low - Engine Cranking". This can happen for multiple reasons and a mechanic needs to diagnose the specific cause for this code to be triggered in your situation. Our certified mobile mechanics can come to your home or office to perform the Check Engine Light diagnostic
