Gaming Wifi Extender. So, I live in a one story house with some buddies and we got a TMobile Home Internet Router in the middle of the house to help provide everyone with a decent connection. I’m on the far left side of the house behind walls and doors and when I game on my PS5 the wifi sucks, but when I put my PS5 in the room with the router
It’s not that T-Mobile Home Internet never worked. I’d say the majority of the time, it was perfectly fine.
Cons. T-Mobile's Home Internet, which uses excess capacity on T-Mobile's 4G and 5G networks, brings refreshing competition to the home internet service space, at $60 per month with no contract. We
At its worse, I've seen my connection download at 70 Mbps. with an anemic 10 Mbps upload. Overall, everybody experiences will differ wildly. My suggestion is give it try, and find out. The general consensus is when it comes to online multiplayer games that rely on low latency, the T-mobile Home Internet might not work out for you.
Verizon Fios is the best internet service to play games online. It has the best latency in our tests and the second-best average upload and download speeds next to Google Fiber. AT&T is the best fiber alternative if Verizon Fios isn’t in your area, offering a wide range of speeds at an affordable price. If you don’t have access to fiber
Unfortunately, no, Verizon LTE internet isn't good for gaming although the internet download and upload speeds are great for streaming online shows or browsing the internet, the fact is Verizon LTE internet isn't a stable enough connection for gaming you will most certainly have ping spikes while you are gaming online and for that reason I
Hope T-mobile home internet works out for you. I can tell you it works great for streaming. Ping at my house is never better than 25 ms and never worse than 40 ms. I guess that would be good enough for gaming, but I can't say for sure. Good luck.
Gaming works, but T-Mobile Home Internet suffers big time from buffer bloat, and gaming is affected. For example someone in the house will be playing a game such as Fortnite or Valorant and everything is working well until I do an internet speed test of one of my devices.
