As I sat down to write this regular update on the Honda CRF 1000L Africa Twin the thought occurred to me that it was almost 12 months to the day that the email invite to the launch dropped into my inbox.
Instruments are easy to see and use and look good too. The DCT bike has a parking brake (it is always free-wheeling when the engine is off) that is easy to use when needed. The bike is light and heavy at the same time: At a claimed 511 pounds for the standard and 534 for the DCT CRF the bikes are in that normal twin-cylinder adventure range.
